Monica & Andrew

Monica and Andrew got married at the Amway Grand Plaza and it was an absolutely gorgeous wedding. The ceremony took place in the Imperial Ballroom and the reception was in the Pantlind Ballroom. I love both of those rooms and got to photograph in both of them on the same day! Monica was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. Monica, I LOVED your shoes! Congratulations to both of you… here is a preview of your wedding day!

Macy & Rory

Macy and Rory live in Texas, but got married here in Grand Rapids. I had a great time photographing their wedding and getting to know them better. Macy looked absolutely gorgeous and I loved how simple, but perfect, all the details were! Thank you to Erin Peters for introducing us. : ) Congratulations Macy and Rory! Here is a preview of your wedding day… enjoy.

Ellie & Brian

Ellie and Brian are getting married later this summer and I was able to get to know them a lot better by doing their engagement photos recently. I love the way their photos turned out – they didn’t want a ton of posing and it worked out perfectly for how I like to shoot. It was a really, really, really HOT day so I have to give them a big thanks for enduring the heat and being so great! I’m sure the heat helped convince them to get in the water at the end of the session. Actually, I had to do no convincing at all. ; ) Ellie and Brian, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next month!!!

I know, the location is so cool! It’s a special, secret location. ; ) It’s actually private land behind my sister’s boyfriends house (Caledonia area) so I have her and him to thank for helping me discover and use it.

privately owned locations are my favorite :) because you know that nobody else photographs there….makes the process even more fun and unique.

Wow, those turned out great. Maybe I can get Nathan to kiss me like that next time we go swimming! Steamy…

Maria & Jon

I don’t even know where to begin in talking about this wedding. Simply, it was amazing. Maria and Jon were so comfortable being themselves in front of the camera and all I had to do was capture them being in love. Everyone was a bit worried about the weather, but the sun came out and it was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding. The location Maria and Jon chose was located in Mackinaw City and I LOVED it. I couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous wedding and lovely couple. To top it all off, I got the opportunity to have my good friend and fellow photographer, Daniel Pesta, come along and help me out. Daniel was awesome to work with!!! Thank you so much for your help, Daniel. : ) Maria and Jon, you were absolutely wonderful to spend the day with and and I’m so glad you asked me to photograph your wedding! I wish you the best of luck in the future. Congratulations!

I LOVE these pictures! What a beautiful wedding…the flowers and the ring are gorgeous! Not to mention the bride:)

Erin

I photographed Erin recently for her senior portraits, but it felt more like I was photographing a model. She was so photogenic and I enjoyed every minute of our shoot. Thanks so much Erin and I hope I can get you to model for me some day!
