Hello! I’m Kelly Sweet and photography is my passion, my love, my muse, my life. I don’t know where I would be had I not picked up a camera and decided, at that moment, that taking photographs was what I was meant to do.
Let me fill you in first on a little bit about me. I lived in Michigan for the first part of my life and shortly after finishing high school, I began traveling all over the world and eventually ended up in San Franciso, California. While living there, I studied all different types of photography and eventually got my degree in Photojournalism. During that time, I learned how much I love to photograph people. They are so full of emotion and life and every time I capture that in a single still image, it makes me smile. I have since moved back to Michigan, but still love to travel wherever my job takes me!
My friends, clients, and peers have described my wedding photography style as soft, romantic, and mysterious… with an artistic and fashion inspired flair.
My studio is located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, but I am more than happy to travel anywhere in the world to photograph you.
